Terms of service

The service

VirtualSchool provides online school management software on a subscription basis. Each school receives its own web address and its own account, administered by the person who registered it.

Subscriptions and payment

Plans are billed in advance for the period you choose (monthly, quarterly or yearly) and paid by bank transfer. A school is created, or a renewal applied, only after we have verified the payment.

Access continues until the end of the paid period. When a subscription ends, access to the school stops on that date until it is renewed. Your data is kept for at least 90 days after expiry so that a renewal restores it in full.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information your school enters, for keeping your staff’s login details secure, and for obtaining any consent required to store students’ and parents’ information.

You must not use the service to send unsolicited messages, to store unlawful content, or to attempt to access another school’s data.

Your data

The data your school enters belongs to your school. We process it only to provide the service, as described in our privacy policy. You can export your records at any time from within the application.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available at all times and to give notice of planned maintenance. We may improve or change features; we will not remove a core feature of a paid plan during a period you have already paid for.

Suspension

We may suspend a school that breaches these terms, after notice where the breach can be remedied. Suspension does not delete your data.
